There are some phrases that are often heard such as RV camping, RV camp grounds, RV resorts, RV photos, RV videos etc, etc. It makes one wonder that what is RV? RV is an acronym for recreational vehicle, generally used to refer to an enclosed piece of equipment dually used as both a vehicle and a temporary travel home. They are also called motor home and motor caravan.

RV, as mentioned before, is also used as a temporary travel home so it is intended to offer all the facilities and activities that one get in home such as kitchen, sleeping, bathroom and dining. A large variety of different RVs are available. The minimal features that RV typically offers are beds, a table, food preparation and storage areas. Larger models add full bathrooms, refrigerators, living areas, master bedrooms, etc. Some models are even more elaborated with satellite TV and Internet access, slide-out sections, and awnings, and either storing a small car inside it or providing the option of towing it behind the RV.

There are many different types and classes of motor homes available in the market such as class A motorhomes and vans, class C motorhomes, travel trailer RVs, tear drop trailers, tent of folding trailers, fifth wheel campers and truck campers.
